Bottle-top Dispenser

What is Bottle-top Dispenser?

Bottle-top Dispenser, also known as a bottle-mouth burette or dropper, is an instrument used for routine chemical analysis operations in the laboratory. It is mainly used for quantitative droplet metering, and can accurately drop liquid into a container for experimental operations such as volume analysis, titration, and dilution. The bottle-mouth dispenser has adjustable drop speed and capacity, so it is very convenient and flexible.

Applications of Bottle-top Dispenser

  1. Titration: By using a bottle-top dispenser, the titration reagent can be accurately dripped into the titration beaker to determine the concentration of a specific substance in the solution.
  2. Volume analysis: The dispenser can achieve accurate volumetric dripping by adjusting the position of the slider. In the process of preparing standard solutions, preparing drugs, preparing samples and calibrating instruments, accurate volume analysis is very important for the accuracy and repeatability of experimental results.
  3. Solution stirring and mixing: The bottle-top dispenser can be used to accurately drip different solutions into a container and mix them by stirring or shaking the container. This plays an important role in chemical reactions, catalytic experiments and drug preparation.
  4. Dilution: By accurately controlling the number and volume of drops, concentrated samples or reagents can be diluted drop by drop to the desired concentration, thereby achieving accurate dilution.
  5. Automation of experimental operations: Some modern bottle-top dispensers are equipped with electronic control systems that can accurately and automatically control the dripping speed and volume, reducing the possibility of human error.
